General Registration

All competitors registering for an event will be required to have a West Central Waterdogs Number if they want to receive a West Central Waterdogs Title.

All registration fees MUST be paid in full online via e-transfer or cash at the event. We do not take PayPal, Debit or Credit Cards.

To enter the Championships you must have entered at least one competition in that calendar year.

Check in for each Leap, Catch, Reach and Fetch shall close twenty (20) minutes before EACH round begins, even if you have registered. If you fail to check in you will NOT be included in the running order. Changes or additions will NOT be made once the competition has started.

Pre-Registration Online

Pre-registration shall close on a pre-determined date or upon fulfillment of 35 dogs per Leap, Catch or Fetch, 6 dogs per Novice Reach and 6 dogs per Pro Reach, after which registration will only be accepted on-site on a first come first serve basis.

Pre-registration confirmation shall be made via email. It is the responsibility of the handler to provide a valid email address when they register. No other means of confirmation shall be made or accepted on site.

All pre-registered teams must check-in onsite at the event at least 20 minutes prior to the round they are competing in to sign the waiver before being allowed access to the dock.

On-Site Registration

Fill out the Registration Form in its entirety.

Sign the Waiver Form.

If a competitor does not complete the required fields on the registration form, that dog's results may not be included in the official results of that event. It is the Handlers responsibility to supply the required information to West Central Waterdogs in order to allow the event results to be included in the official results.

Waiver

All competitors and participants must sign a West Central Waterdogs waiver before accessing the dock.
Youth Handlers (minimum age 7) who would like to participate must have a parent sign a Youth Waiver and the parent or guardian must remain on-site while the youth participates.
Under NO circumstances is a Youth permitted to go in the pool during competition or practice.

Liability

Dogs must be crated or controlled by a leash that is six (6) feet or shorter in length at all times.

Handlers must notify West Central Waterdogs staff if their dogs are known biters or if their dog is aggressive or has "space issues".
